...and not just because it has my music in it. lol <-- Although I will admit turning down the volume a little might have helped.

Not bad though. Decent. I like the general premise, and I definitely think it could go somewhere. But I agree with the public so far: it needs a bit more challenge (perhaps bombs that move faster/in more directions), some background and a little more variety.

It would be clever, but I think I have to agree with some of your other reviewers - this rings a lot like Animator Vs. Animation so it's difficult to hail it as a clever, new, original work.

That said, you've got some skill in the animation department. My advice to you could be one of two things: 1) If you hadn't before seen Animator Vs. Animation, do a little research beforehand next time. 2) If you had, try and bring something new to the table. The Newgrounds thing was a very nice touch. Bring in more of that stuff, try and distinguish it completely from similar projects.

I say this as I'm on my way through FFX right now. lol

I have to say, though, it's a bit midi for me - that could be me being biased. You've done a great job with nailing all the melody - seriously, very very well done there, it's not easy - but your trumpet track in particular along with a few others is really out of place with it. Take your l33t skillz and put them to use with some more fulfilling samples and you'll have yourself an awesome time.

Keep it up! Hope to hear more from your neck of the woods.
